Boat Rental in Kingsland, TX
Texas State law requires a boat license for motor boats for those born after September 1, 1993. Boat rentals may require a boat license regardless of age. We suggest calling ahead if you don’t have your license so you know exactly what you need to do. You can take an exam online with “free” study resources ($11 to the State of Texas) or find several other paid courses online.

The “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” House
Are you a fan of horror films? Well it turns out The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was originally filmed up the road in Round Rock, TX just north of Austin. The house was cut into pieces (appropriate right?) and moved to Kingsland in 1998. You can see it yourself if you would like, as it is now featured as the Grand Central Cafe Restaurant at the historic Antlers Inn.
